Don’t let incontinence, dizziness, spasticity, or pain keep you from the things and people you love. Return to a state of balance using a holistic approach.
After child birth or gastric surgery, it is hard to resume a feeling of normalcy. Don’t let your pelvic floor fall; help it out a bit. As a mother of 2, I have struggled to regain my confidence in my bladder. It can feel like leaking when sneezing is just a normal part of aging or motherhood. With encouragement from my collegues I was able to return to jumping on the trampoline and playing with my kids. I then pursued further specialized training in pelvic health and would like to pass this gift on to you. Men and women both struggle with bowel and bladder control, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and more. Let’s get back to pelvic health!
I have also struggled with visual vertigo most of my life. It started out as motion sickness in the car, but became so much more as I got older. Collegues introduced me to the world of vestibular rehabilitation. My mind was blown. I attended specialized training to use principles like habituation, adaptation, substitution, and repositioning maneuvers (ie Epley) to improve myself and my patients. Dizziness is like living in a fog, and it is unacceptable. Equilibrium is a delicate balance that can be easily disturbed, whether by a car wreck, a fall, a virus or infection, stroke, heart attack, and much more. There is hope. Find your way out of the fog.
